Izzy 2:11

Izzy is counting a lot these days 2.3.4.5.11.
So I am making an emphasis on the number one hopefully without her feeling she is doing something wrong.
Lots of number songs, counting everywhere we go. Trees. Cars spoons. Etc. Oh so many things to count.
I am using the number rods to reinforce the number to a concrete object. But I also use blueberries. Carrots at dinner time. And sometimes if I am feeling my sweet tooth chocolate smarties. (izzys favourite)..
We were also counting animals in her sandbox!!!

Telling the time

This game is to help Rei telling the time, she is doing this in school at the moment and even though she is doing okay I wanted to make it a bit more fun.....we had a few games then big brother wanted a game ..... Rei won. Xxx

I always look at these big tongs and think 'maybe this will be to big, and then I give them to her and.....,,,
The tray is an Easter rabbit from the £1 shop. X

Been thinking about Easter and making some fun activities. What would I do without Tiger and the Pound shop xx
Izzy is using her fingers but I could add tweezers or maybe a small spoon.

2:11 Speech and Language

I realized that I am missing a large part of Izzy's progress SPEECH AND LANGUAGE ...... I am going to note in the blog the new grammer, new speech patterns and anything else that sounds 'amazing'..cause lets be honest isnt it amazing that our little 'human beans' can talk nearly as well as us....oh okay sometimes better!!!!! oh okay and she is using 2 languages!!!! Last night in bed I was stroking her back and she said "not hard..do it soft" ...... I was surprised that she clearly knew the diffrence. A few days ago she said "my book"...... this was the first time she had said 'my' .....

Izumi 2:11

Izzy is really into her home corner. She is always busy opening and closing cupboards, putting things in pots and pans and sharing her delights with her family .
Her Daddy got her a collection of small Japanese characters from the show Anpanman which she loves. She sits with them and gives each characters a different voice and makes her own scenarios.
