Izzy 4:6 Baking

As always, anything you can introduce that is a daily necessity is a bonus. Baking cakes has so many opportunities from motor skills to early maths.  

Izzy 4:6 Pack Lunch

Izzy is starting pack lunch in school today, so letting her pack it has a few reasons. 

She knows what is in there, so no upsets at lunch time because there is something in there that she dosnt like. 

It reinforces that she is staying for lunch and Mummy will pick her up later. 

Independence, self esteem, letting her know that she can do it herself. 

Izzy 4:6 Sorting

You can introduce sorting activities throughout your average day, here Izzy offered to help her big sister put the Simpsons Chess pieces back in the box. 

She can visually size the pieces.
