These worms are a great way to introduce measuring to young children. Izzy was sorting the worms into colors before measuring with them.

This is one of Izzys favourite ways to spend an evening, there is a lot of rescuing and helping going on.

Izzy made an animal hospital, toilet roll and celotape make great bandages.

Izzy has been interested in The Gunpowder Plot for ages and now they have been reading about it in school she is more excited. 

She drew Guy Fawkes, Big Ben and Fireworks.

All Hallows Eve

This is not a hugely detailed account of traditional Welsh 'All Hallows' Eve' but hopefully the children will get a clearer picture of what the night of 31 October is all about. 

Breaking the text into four will hopefully not make this seem like homework.  Plus I am incorporating it into a Spooky treasure hunt...
